your own testimonial about our products!I am writing to let you know how much I enjoy my new EC-TS. I had been using an electronic checklist in my Aerostar 601P for ten years until it quit working. I found out that the company no longer exists and I could not find anyone who was able to repair it. I really missed having it and had to resort to using my old written checklist. When I saw an ad in the AOPA magazine for the AEC EC-TS, I decided to order it. The installation was quick and simple and I have been enjoying it ever since. I have found that the EC-TS is far superior to my old unit as I was able to install my own personal program using my PC and am able to hear it talk back to me here in my office. I especially like the audio and display timer feature. I find it quite useful when I have the fuel selector on cross feed and on timed approaches. I feel that the EC-TS is a must for all aircraft since using it is quicker and easier than reading from a written list and therefore will not be neglected as many pilots tend to do. I will never fly without it again. David Rowe Georgia I fly an Aerocommander 500s. Like Most general aviation trained pilots I was brought up on the BUMPFH checks. Having fitted a GPS with its own integrated electronic checklist I still found that the GPS checklist had drawbacks. It lacked flexibility to defer checks if required and in keeping your heads up more often, I was not able to advance on checks without taking my hands off the control column making it tricky in turbulence, I was unable to switch between the GPS and checklist without loosing the current screen which was not so good on a GPS approach, and it lacked sufficient memory to hold all necessary checks. The Checklist Technologies Talking Checklist solves all of those problems, the software can also be edited and downloaded form your home PC with ease. I would highly recommend this to all pilots.
